Our charity partners

We're working with Australian charities to get the materials that you donate to the people who need them most. We've partnered with three amazing charities to get your donations to where they are needed, so your old  books and educational materials can be loved again.

The Australian Literacy and Numeracy Foundation (ALNF) is a national charity dedicated to raising language, literacy and numeracy standards in Australia. ALNF raises funds to develop, implement and sustain a number of innovative literacy programs with tangible results, working across the nation.  ALNF’s programs address a wide range of learning needs, with a particular focus on Indigenous, refugee and marginalised communities. ALNF’s programs are targeted, specialised and community driven. They give parents, educators and community members the tools they need to break the cycle of trans-generational illiteracy.
The ALNF Share-A-Book Program provides new and quality pre-loved books to Indigenous, refugee and marginalised communities in need to resources.

ALNF believes that literacy is freedom- literacy allows individuals to access education, participate meaningfully in our society and to have a voice. It is a basic human right.

West Welcome Wagon is a volunteer run not-for-profit, operating since 2013 and dedicated to providing material aid and support to asylum seekers in Melbourne's west.  Assisting over 500 households of asylum seekers from over 30 different countries, we provide them with good quality donated items including furniture, bedding, clothing, children’s toys, appliances and kitchenware.

The Give A Textbook  Foundation are a small Melbourne based, not-for-profit organisation that actively distributes books throughout the Philippines. Our main objectives are promoting sustainability and environmental awareness through re-homing books within communities in Australia and the Philippines, and to empower individuals and help to relieve poverty through education.
